This week’s Luxe Travel Wishlist pick is the Chedi Muscat, in Muscat, Oman. Ever been to Muscat? Me neither – this hotel definitely gives me a reason to go.
A small hotel nestled in the Hajar Mountains, the Chedi Muscat only has 158 rooms – 8 deluxe rooms and 38 Chedi club suites. The club suites come with a view of the sea.
Out of all of the Luxe Travel Wishlist places I’ve featured, I must say I’m not very impressed with the rooms here. But the views and the service make this place over the top.
There are six, yes SIX restaurants at the Chedi Muscat. The cuisines go from Mediterranean and the Middle East to Southeast Asia and India. There’s even a Shisha Lounge, for you hookah lovers!
November to mid-March are the best times for tourists to visit Oman – throughout the rest of the year the temperatures can reach 115 degrees or higher. In the hot temperatures, the Chedi has more than one pool to cool you off – if you can bare the heat!
For dates in November, the Chedi started at $480/night, so save your coins up! The Chedi Muscat won 5 awards in 2012 alone. To book a room or for more information, check out their website here.
